Hadley Social Impact Consulting

Melissa Hart is a social impact consultant with 8+ years of portfolio, program, and event management experience for both national & international charitable organizations to help them realize their goals of creating a better world.

Melissa began her career in the social impact space by supporting an international low-cost student loan program operating in over 70 countries to lift students out of poverty.  She was a program manager for Central and South America. As part of her work, she also helped design the coding for the new loan processing platform.

Melissa also partnered with the NAACP to design and launch a financial management program for inner-city populations in the United States. The program ran successfully in over three major US cities.

Most recently, Melissa was the Executive Director for Utah’s Kids Belong and successfully started and scaled a chapter of the organization to support children experiencing foster care in the state. Her organization teamed up with Utah’s Governor and his wife, Abby Cox, to make foster care a major focus of the First Lady’s platform.

Melissa has also managed large-scale social impact events and concerts, including a benefit concert in the Spring of 2022 that raised $100K for Ukraine.

Melissa earned her Bachelor’s degree from Duke University and a Master’s degree from the University of Maryland, College Park. She also lived abroad and is fluent in Spanish. Melissa loves playing outdoors with her two kids, Dylan (13) and Jane (11).
